We think nothing of it at all. People say baseball is too long and boring? Not like this.

    Baseball is long enough.

When does the 2020 Cricket world cup end? 2030?

I’m a baseball fan, have been all my life. To be honest, most of us baseball fans couldn’t care less about cricket, just like most cricket fans probably don’t care about the World Series. I would imagine that, given the fact that cricket is really only big in countries that don’t play baseball (and vice-versa) there are very few fans of both sports.
I played a lot of baseball (about 20 years from little league to the low, and I mean LOW minor leagues) and have also been fortunate enough to have played some cricket as well. I played with some friends of mine of Indian descent, and although I still prefer baseball, I found it to be a lot of fun to play. The area I live in (just outside of Chicago) has a large Indian and Pakistani community, and there actually are teams in our area. I own a trophy shop, and have made trophies for the USA Cricket Association, and from what I’ve seen, cricket will never be a real big sport here, but it is growing in popularity, mostly because of first generation immigrants from Pakistan and India.
    Enjoy the tournament.
